Origin: Channa burmanica (Burmese Snakehead) is found in Myanmar (formerly known as Burma).

Temperament: Aggressive.

Company: Channa burmanica (Burmese Snakehead) should not be kept with species that are smaller then the snakeheads.

Water parameters: Temperature 22-28˚C / 72-82˚ F; pH 6-7.5

Aquarium setup: Channa burmanica (Burmese Snakehead) is best kept in very large aquarium tanks or preferably large ponds. Their holding environment should be decorated so that there are large open areas to swim on and hiding places. Plants are most likely necessary of you want to breed this species. Breeds air and do therefore need surface access.

Feeding: Channa burmanica (Burmese Snakehead) accepts most meaty food but prefers live food.
