Company: Ecsenius nalolo (Nalolo) should not be kept with other specimens of the same species or large fishes.

Aquarium Setup: Ecsenius nalolo (Nalolo) inhabits shallow clear coastal to outer reef crests with rich coral growth in the wild. In the aquarium, it requires a similar setup and plenty of water. Place your Nalolo in a seasoned aquarium that is already stocked. The water temperature should be constant, mid 70’s to low 80’s F is suitable. Keep the pH in the 8.0-8.4 range. Aeration should be vigorous.

Food: Ecsenius nalolo (Nalolo) eats algae, zooplankton, and plants in the wild. Provide your fish with a varied diet consisting of both vegetable-based food and meaty foods.

Breeding: We are unable to provide any information regarding the breeding of Ecsenius nalolo (Nalolo) in captivity.
