Water parameters: Temperature 24-28°C / 75-82°F; pH 7.2 – 8.2

Aquarium setup: Xiphophorus birchmanni (Sheepshead Swordtail) should be kept in aquarium with open areas to swim and densely planted areas. Always keep more females then males.

Feeding: Xiphophorus birchmanni (Sheepshead Swordtail) accepts all kinds of food.

Breeding: Xiphophorus birchmanni (Sheepshead Swordtail) are livebearers. The female give birth to fully developed fry in dense vegetation. The fry can be feed crushed flake food.
