Temperament: The Spotted cory (Corydoras ambiacus) is a very peaceful species

Company: Corydoras ambiacus does well with most small peaceful fish. Make sure there is enough space on the bottom on the tank if you keep them with other bottom dwellers. Should always be kept in shoals of atleast 6 individuals.

Aquarium Setup:  Spotted cory (Corydoras ambiacus) prefers a planted aquarium with densely planted areas. They also want some hiding places on the bottom of the tank among  driftwood and rocks. The bottom substrate in the tank should be sand or smooth gravel. They like to sift through the bottom substrate in search for food and sharp gravel can injure their barbels.

Feeding: Spotted cory (Corydoras ambiacus) will accept most foods.

Breeding: Spotted cory (Corydoras ambiacus) can be breed as other cory species.
