With regular water changes, I doubt that mineral buildup in the tank from flourite would be an issue. Also, if my rusty memory is correct, flourite doesn't itself contain many nutrients from the...

This is not necessary for their survival, but the mollies and platies would likely benefit too from periodic feedings with boiled spinach or other vegetables as they are omnivorous in nature.

C. zygatus supposedly can be distinguished from C. rabauti by growing larger, having less vivid colors as well as bright orange markings somewhat above and behind the eyes.
As for Corydoras...
-
Pretty sure they were zygatus because of how large they got as well as certain color patterns, notably the orange eyebrows.

Very beautiful blue cories! I once ran into some really small, suspiciously cheap and pale Corydoras "eques" and couldn't help but take the bait. I thought they were travel-stressed but the low price...

45/45 too.
I definitely don't mean to demean anyone's scores, but one of the things I noticed with the quiz that would be different than identifying fish in the field is that the options are all...

If the spots do not move around, they may be nerite eggs. Nerites tend to lay single eggs randomly scattered around the tank on hard surfaces.

That's pretty funny. Just looking at the video I don't think the dolphin intended to hit the guy. It seemed like it was boxed in on either side by other dolphins and didn't have the presence of mind...

Where are you located? If you can get it either retail or by mail order, NorthFin makes some really good pellets (no flakes last I checked) with little filler.
However, they were primarily selling...

No personal experience, but have you considered festivums? I've heard they're another largeish, fairly peaceful midwater dweller.

I haven't been closely following this thread but here are some thoughts.
I assume that you've made sure that each and every fish has been eating the medicated food? If so, the ongoing worm problems...

welcome back. I too have recently returned after a long hiatus.

Bioload-wise that should be okay, though I'm not sure how well the shrimp will play with the loaches or the tetras.
Instead of 2 aquaclear 110s, have you considered a single canister filter?

I'm even less certain about the second one, though the bark is similar to cherries. Any photos of the tree during the summer?
-
From the pics, I'm not able to give a confident ID. However, the budding leaves, bark and twigs make me think box elder (Acer negundo).
Is the last picture of the same tree? the bark looks slightly...

1. I've summered white clouds in storage totes with no issues. Perhaps you could also leach out the majority of any chemicals by filling the totes with water and letting them sit for a few days.

It does look like a water quality related issue. What is your maintenance routine and what are your water parameters?
-
It sounds like a head/spinal injury. The chance of recovery is low and if the fish recovers, the chance of chronic complications is high. If I were you I would euthanize the iridescent shark and...
-
all fish food will gradually lose nutiritional content as the oxygen in the air oxidizes (reacts with) the vitamins. Leaving a lid open for one night won't have an appreciable effect on the quality...

Is it possible that this fish is an immature or stressed/non-territorial one that isn't showing full colors? As for being a tilapia, tilapia mariae
has a prominent opercular spot that this...
-
I’m not super familiar with larger cichlids but it definitely doesn’t look like a tilapia. It also does not look like a paretroplus because those have forked tails and rounded dorsal and anal fins....
-
Fish don't shed the way reptiles do. The slime coat is constantly produced and degraded. However, they can overproduce if something is irritating them, which results in a thick sloughing coat. If you...

There are many options for a 20 gallon, certainly more than could be reasonably listed. You could have a single larger (or territorial) fish like a smaller cichlid or a gourami for example, or have a...

Is the water in your aquarium generally cloudy? How long ago did the symptoms appear?
