There are pic. of a man with a 7'x7' giant FW Ray that he caught in the Makong river in thiland, Reel cool Sorry didn't get link. This is a world record, we have no idea what is out there. I'm wondering who has the biggest fish on this site.

I have a 20" silver arowana. I'm sure someone here has a bigger one though.

I have a 15" channel catfish in my pond.By the end of next year,Ill have a 20 plus inch channel cat,the koi will possible be close to 2 ft by the end of next year as well.

my lord that thing is huge for freshwater. They need to release that thing back to it's home to graze bottoms and stab Irwins and whatnot

They caught and released it.It was preggo as well.

Why not?We have a pond forum.Jking really,I felt left out cause my tank fish are all the puny variety(blush)

I saw a show on Nat Geo channle about the giant freshwater stingray a month or two ago. They have a show on just about huge fish. I can usally find it On Demand, on Verizon. Comcast should have it too.

That was my exact thought as soon as i saw it. that may be why they are keeping it alive. I'll have to go back and read the whole thing.

That was my exact thought as soon as i saw it. that may be why they are keeping it alive. I'll have to go back and read the whole thing.
The story I saw said they released it.

yeah, they released it. I remember seeing that in a local newspaper a while back, still have the picture on my wall.
