Due to popular demand I have gotten some new pics of the silver aro. First pic is him 3 months ago (when I got him at almost 10"). Rest of pics are him now!
He's about 18" now and bulking up real good! Can't wait to put him his new home! Enjoy.... (more pics later, and maybe a feeding vid if I can pull it off)

Beautiful aro! Definatly one of the nicest silvers Ive seen in a long time:11: Raising nice large fish takes work and dedication...we can clearly see youve been taking great care of him.

Crispy,just a thought!
Any idea on how big of an arrowana can I safely add to my 135 with two 11" oscars.
Its been something I have been considering lately!

I would say none as an adult.

I dont think i'd even do it. They need a 2' wide tank so quickly that it's almost pointless to buy one for an 18" wide tank w/out the larger tank waiting. Just my 2 cents.

I wouldn't keep oscars and aros together. Someone is gonna get beat up badly (probably the aro). You'd need a giant tank before I'd attempt it.

I was going to say that as well...Aros seem to get picked on pretty easily.
