Idk anything about plecos but they look pretty cool so i'm planning on getting one. I like the gold nugget ones that i saw at the lfs and it's quite pricey. 36 bux... I wonder if that pleco would be ok in my 12...

This (http://www.planetcatfish.com/catelog/species.php?species_id=75). Tops out under four inches, very hardy. Most common exotic pleco you can buy.

Thanks a lot dave! How bout those albino bristlenose ones? Do those get up to more than a foot like a common pleco?

Common species that are available in albino form is Ancistrus dolochopterus, and they top out at 5 inches.

Stable and established tank, yes, as long as there are plenty of hiding places, like driftwood, for the fish for its securities' sake.
