Took these. Little things are hard to photograph....especially what i think is a pregnant one.

I was going to put one of these pictures up for tank of the month but i just don't think they're good enough to compete looking at the ones already posted.

you can see the pregnant one in the first picture. Little yellow eggs in it's belly i think. Wonder if i need to do anything special for it. If i even can as i probably won't see it again for a while with the tank being so big.

The eggs are actually under its belly, they carry them until hatching i believe, at which point they should be able to eat as the other shrimps do, water changes cant hurt though. They look great btw

lol I didn't think you were competing with me. Great pictures.

As said before, the eggs are just "held" under the belly. I've seen videos of Cherry Shrimp "airing" the eggs out or whatever, where they like shuffle them around - if that makes any sense. One of my RCS had babies (actually, two were pregnant when I got them, so I reckon two had babies), and they were just left to defend for themselves. Nothing special was done. Unlike a lot of shrimp species, RCS don't need salt in order to have successful shrimp babies. The little guys will be super tiny, and will hide all over the place. They're really rather cute if you can ever see one! They're just miniature versions of the adult shrimp.

Beautiful pictures! You will probably have lots of little shrimps in the tank in no time. Very nice!

I'll add my pics, I haven't quite figured out how to photograph an aquarium (and yes my glass needs cleaned).
