Are yoyo loaches known to eat algae right off the aquarium glass?

people feed them algae wafers, they eat vegetable matter, I don't see why they wouldn't..... they may not be as efficient as an oto or a pleco but I'd imagine they will eat up the algae as they are oppurtunistic eaters...

Only a very hungry Yo-Yo loach will do so... if they are being fed with other foods or other fish then they will not really bother

Hey would you rather have the whole burger or just the lettuce that comes with it?? hehehehe

i've never seen my yo-yo's eating algea off the glass, rocks or ornaments. i've seen them doing what i think is algea eating off silk plants though

Otos are the best. I love mine. They are great at taking it off the glass.

Otos are definetely the best algae eating fish in a 2 inch package.....

Are oto cats usally hard ti find in fish stores?

Usually they are easy to find, but make sure they are actually Otocinclus cats and not chinese algae eaters which get much larger.
