I'm pretty sure he's a butterfly colored veil-tail crown-tail mix, but wanted to see what you guys think!! He also has a super cool personality because he likes it when I light candles next to his tank and he wont eat unless I split his pellets in half and walk away. Here are a few pictures of him! :)

He's a pretty boy...nice pics

What is he in, a jar or bowl?

Thanks! He is in a bowl, which in real life is much larger than the pictures make it look. And before anyone starts to lecture me, I know it would be much better if I could afford/was allowed to have a bigger tank for him. However, I am a college student living in an apartment with strict no pet rules (yes. fish too. I know.) So I do the best I can for this little guy with what I have, and he's pretty spoiled. So thanks for the concern about my baby boy but I would like everyone to know he is in good hands.

A bowl is better than a cup, I suppose.

Keep a close eye on params, daily WC's may be in your future.

Lovely beta! I've seen 5 Gallon tanks for $20 and since your not filtering the bowl and doing water changes anyhow? I have my 1/2 moon in a 10 Gallon all by himself...

he's a very pretty fish. I hope you can upgrade to a proper tank soon.
When you change the water, are you using a conditioner to remove the chlorine? if not, best start and good luck.

Hi Guy, I'm BETTA COFFY on Youtube.com/BETTACOFFY.
I know about your fish. It's in very bad because you don't provide feed for your fish.
You should do as video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FDkhS-zK1E&list=PLqhTniyyDGFK19dQWHQFI0O7LUh1SC3hA
Let's do it! Your fish is good, health and beautiful :D
Sorry... My english is not good!

That's a really pretty color! My friend has a beta who won't eat unless the pellets are split in half...maybe it's just a beta thing? ;)
