Echinodorus martii is characterised by its long, light-green leaves
with a fluted margin, which are very attractive in large aquariums. It is
suitable for the hard water found in many European aquariums. A nutritious
bottom promotes growth. There is some confusion about the name of this plant,
and it has been called E. maior and E. martii.
