Cryptocoryne albida is available in two colour varieties - one
light-green and the other red-brown with dark flecks on the leaves.
Cryptocoryne albida needs slightly more light than other Cryptocorynes, and
requires a very long period of acclimatisation before growth starts. However, it
is then an easy plant to grow, although a nutritious bottom promotes growth. For
many years this plant has been called Cryptocoryne costata.
