A must have. I recommend getting this product before you need it.
This product is on the expensive side but is worth it for a name you can trust in my opinion.

Great and easy to use medication for a lot of common problems. I recommend using this in conjunction with Pimafix to ensure broad spectrum healing of many common illnesses. Easy to find and well worth it. I recommend you purchase some before you actually need it so you have it on hand when indicated.

price, can damage fins on bettas

this product works pretty well. it heals fish pretty quickly. it doesn't not come with any kind of measurement device, which i would have appreciated.
it is known to cause some damage to betta fins if the you slightly overdose. i noticed a few holes in one of my betta's fins after some treatment.

Good broad spectrum medication. I always keep a little around. It is a little pricey though and has a rather potent odor that is noticeable in the room when in use.

Appears to work, all-natural
|
|
Cons:
|
Lingering smell
|
Absolute must have. If you never buy any other medication buy this one. It claims to be all-natural and appears to be very gentle on tank life, including cories who can be hard to medicate.
-Have treated all new arrivals to my twenty gallon with it and have only lost one fish who was not expected to live anyways.
-Have treated neon tetras for an unknown disease and it was fully cleared up before the third day.
-Have treated my Dwarf Gourami briefly with him returning to his active, bright self quite fast
(Although a nice big dosing of brine shrimp probably played some part in that too! )
------------------------------ A severe lack of trichogaster.
Just because your Gourami is sick does not mean it is always Iridovirus, DGIV, Gourami Disease, et cetera.
Look at all the other factors in your tank before coming to this conclusion.

First off, this stuff smells amazing.
I used this on a red "blotch" zebra cichlid that had been beaten to a bloody pulp by another deranged cichlid, whom has since been rehomed. The zebra was on the verge of death, even considered euthanasia. After a week and a half in the quarantine tank and daily dosing of melafix he was good as new, and is now king of the tank.
