This is finely powdered food that is ideal for new small fry. I switched from using this however to finely powdered flake food that I crush myself. I noticed no difference in the health of the fry. That being said though, this small package is what you need if you don't want to spend time with a mortar and pestle to crush your own food.
------------------------------ 8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

Had a friend use this while I used flake food I crushed myself and my fry actually seem to be growing faster than theirs. This being said there is no difference in health but you could save yourself some money and just crush your own flakes.
