Description:
PimaFix is a natural botanical remedy made from Pimenta racemosa (West Indian Bay) oil, providing unique active compounds, which harmoniously work together to attack fish diseases. The active compounds found in Pimenta racemosa not only provide many different modes of action, but also eliminate the possibility of the development of resistant strains of disease-causing organisms.
pimafix clears diseases such as fungal infections
Treats both internal and external bacterial infections

Treating with PimaFix will not harm the biological filter in freshwater or saltwater aquariums or ponds. PimaFix has no effect on pH. PimaFix is harmless to aquatic plants.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Safe for fish
Cons: expensive, doesnt always work

It works in some instances, but not all. Because of the way it was designed, its impossible to tell if a disease will resond to it unless you use it, so it can be hit or miss. But when it works, it works.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): A must have for the fishie first aid kid.
Cons: Expensive for a med

Always good to have it on hand. I recommend getting it before you need it. Same with melafix.

It is however, considerably more expensive than melafix in my area.
There are some cheaper alternatives, but it may be worth the extra money to have a name you can trust when it comes to fish meds.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good med
Cons: Pricey

Good broad spectrum medication. I always keep a little around. It is a little pricey though and has a rather potent odor that is noticeable in the room when in use.
