They are bloodworms.

What is there to say? These are freeze-dried bloodworms. High acceptance among fish. My gouramis in particular go crazy over the stuff. There are other competing and less expensive freeze-dried bloodworms, but anything under this brand name is guaranteed to be outstanding. Good stuff.

Fish of all sizes LOVE this stuff. It makes a great treat or additive to any food mix. As with all Hikari food the quality is awesome.

For a smaller tank I've found the cubes of shrimp to be too large. However, the cubes are easily broken into half or down to small sizes for juvie size fish.

I can not say anything negative about this. It does smell a little I guess but great source of nutrition. My fish live them and they last for a long time.
