Description:
From the Hikari website:
"A highly nutritious water flea that helps purge the digestive system. Great for fry, small mouthed fish and following medicating.
Hikari’s 3 Step Sterilization process assures unequalled product quality. Free of parasites, harmful bacteria and foul odor, Bio-Pure frozen foods are another example of Hikari’s product quality commitment. Packed in pure water and available in our “no touch” cube packs, Bio-Pure frozen foods provide maximum nutrition with minimum mess."

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Sterlized food, better than freeze-dried
Cons:
Too much in one cube for smaller tanks
Decent snack for my barbs. They really like them. Each cube provides way too much food for my 11 barbs, so I break the frozen cubes in half (still too much) and save the other half for another time.
------------------------------ The early bird may get the worm, but it's the second mouse that gets the cheese.

good supplemental food

cubes too large
Just bought these and just like Hikari's frozen blood worms, the cubes are large. I wish they would make the cubes smaller. Sure you can cut them, but why not make them smaller? One cube is a lot even for a medium sized aquarium. Now other than that, the fish love them! Flake food is great, but adding this to their diet helps keep their diet varied.
