The heater works great. For the tanks it is recommended for the heater is too big. The heater is close to the same length as the tank it goes in. If your on a budget, it will work just fine.
------------------------------ Stock the tank you have, not the tank you plan to have. Always have and use patience.

I have the 250w versions and they do well in the 50g and 55g.

I must have somehow got a crack in this as it filled up with water and was dead. Im not sure how it happened, and my fish were way too small to do anything to it.
