Description:
This is a 5 stage filtration hang on back filtration system. It contains: Multi-stage filter boast two mechanical filtration stages; customizable chemical filtration stage and a dual biological filtration system that employs trickle-filter technology. This is fully customizable set up. The C2 has a rated GPH of 119; the C3 has GPH of 153; and the C4 has a rating of 264 GPH.
Maintenance on these filters is made easier with compartments and baskets. These can easily be maintained during different times of the month, so as to maintain a healthy level of beneficial bacteria colony, thereby keeping the Ammonia to Nitrate cycle more intact.
Performance is top quality and overall noise of the pump when installed to instructional specifications is non-existent. This filtration only makes noise in the environment to the extent water falls into tank.

Good filtration
Cons:
a tad noisy, not really a true five stage filter
Not really five levels of filtration as advertised. Why? Because the bioscreen is basically a mechanical filter for the c-nodes. It is needed because the water that is pumped to the biological part is not filtered first. It is water that is diverted from the main flow before it goes through the other stages. So in effect I would say this filter is a four stage filter. Still like this filter better than aquaclear because it can filter out smaller particles better.
