not quiet

i have 2 of these are 1 red and 1 green, these are not as quiet as the manufactuar points out, gravel gets stuck in them its a nightmare to get the gravel out and it will damadge the pump, they are colourful as pointed out,and the bubbles are good, fish do like these, but i would be careful with any amphibions as they can get sucked in(disgusting but truthful there legs get stuck) as you can see ive not rated this very well.

Not very good product, its over priced in stores. Can be dangerous to fish and inverts. The airpump looses power after a while.

Clogged everynight.Miserable piece of equipment.Maybe if it was used in a tank with no floating debris at all it would be ok.Very noisy as well.

I bought the Airo 2 with the Wood Decoration, it has worked great and looks good at night. I haven't had any issues with it besides the fact that it is a little noisy.

very fine bubbles and LOTS of them
Cons:
the adjustment screw doesn't have much effect
I bought the Airo4 in red. It's much quieter than my external Whisper air pump and puts out substantially more bubbles. Too many bubbles for my 15 gal tank with 2 clowns and a long tentacle. I have a Fluval 2Plus acting as a power head and the tank is saturated with tiny bubbles.

Looks kinda cool
Cons:

maint, noise, multiple cords
OK so the one we had was the red volcano decoration one. And yes it does look kind of cool in the tank and yes it does provide some aeration.
However, the build design means you have 2 cords and 1 airtube going into your tank to power the light and pump. It also clogs easily and seems to be particularly attractive to snails as a place to get into, get stuck in and die.
This means every weekly water change I'm cleaning this one decoration. If the bf wasn't so attached to it... I'd rather toss the thing across the room.
It is also the loudest equipment in my set up. All air pumps tend to be a bit noisy so its not outrageous but it is definitely audible.
