Description:

Maxi-Jet®PH pump and power head is ideal for powering undergravel filters or creating internal water movement from its fully rotational output. This pump incorporates a venturi aeration device to provide optimal aeration and gas exchange in the aquarium. A silencer keeps the venturi aeration device operating quietly. An adjustable air filter permits the user to fine-tune air volume and water mixing as desired. The intake tube adapter with prefilter screen prevents gravel or loose material in the aquarium from getting into the pump

Positive aspects of the product (pros):	Small size
Cons:	non really

I’ve been using this pump for a few weeks now. Works great for low flow applications. As long as you set-it up so it rests on the rubber feet that come with it, its really quite.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):	Great for the price
Cons:	Not very flexible

Works great as a return pump for my saltwater sump and also to mix saltwater.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):	Does the job
Cons:	Not especially powerful

Mine came with a used tank and I use it occasionally to speed up WC on larger tanks by removing the end of my python and using this to output directly into the hose. I have used it from time to time for added flow in my 90 but it's a bit lacking in oomph to be really effective for that IME.
