Description:
|
EzeClean was developed to quickly and easily remove calcareous deposits from your saltwater equipment leaving it looking like new. This powdered material mixes easily with water to produce an acid solution that will remove thick hardened on calcium deposits which solutions like vinegar would not touch EzeClean formula can be used anywhere where lime deposits have formed, such as on aquarium equipment or in a domestic situation where hard tap water is present and causes problems. EzeClean removes even the most obstinate lime deposits simply and effectively. Use EzeClean formula for cleaning pumps, skimmers, pipework, UV sterilisers, calcium reactors, old aquariums and the white deposits off the body of kalkwasser stirrers to bring the function and appearance back to new

Cons:

You need to use a lot

When I bought my used skimmer, the past owner never cleaned it after removing from his tank. It was covered in hardened filth. I used Ezeclean on it. I mixed up a batch and soaked the skimmer in it over night. It removed about 85% of the crud off it just by rinsing in water and the rest just wiped off with a cloth. It really works well for SW equipment. The only drawback is that you have to use a lot fo the product to mix it to the manufacture’s recommendations. I would also soak your equipment in it a little longer than the 2 hours recommended on the package.
