Description:
|
No hassle lighting control! The Power Center from Aqualight allows you to power a full day-to-night cycle of lights for your aquarium. Featuring 2 outlets for actinic fixtures, 2 outlets for lunar fixtures, and 3 outlets for 10,000k daylight fixtures, you will have all the lighting your tank needs powered from one simple appliance. Included with the Power Center is an additional constant-power outlet and an optional wavemaker application that enables you to create the rhythm of the ocean! You can also customize your lighting schedule with a 24-hour mechanical setting, or 15-minute interval setting.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
|
Dependable, easy to set, versatile.

Cons:
|
Plug spacing.
|
Very easy to set the dual timers. Very versatile for different lighting and powerhead applications. The only thing I don't like is the plug spacing. If you have equipment with power transformers on the power cords, you may have to use an extension cord between the transformer and the plug-in on the timer, since the transformers are usually too wide and won't allow you to use all the plug-ins on the timer. But I would still recommend this unit, as it is well built and very dependable.

LOVE this thing. Handles my CF lights, UV sterilizer, Lunar Light, and air pump. I don't have to think about when to turn on/off, it takes care of all that.
The plug spacing is an issue, because everything I have seems to come with a massive transformer or such as the plug. However, I use a regular power strip plugged into the timer strip and that gives me enough space to fit everything. I have one strip for DAY and one for NIGHT, which also overcomes the 2-outlet-each limitation for day or night cycle.
The timer has 15 minute increments, so you get tons of flexibility on how long each cycle lasts. Can have as many "day" and "night" cycles as you want in a 24-hour period.
