Description: The Fluval 4 Plus Underwater Filter is a powerful and economical submersible filter. It is easy to care for, quiet, and effective. The Fluval 4 is a great mechanical filter for any small aquarium, turtle or reptile tank with up to 57 gallons of water.
The Fluval 4 has a flow rate of 260 gph and uses 120v/10watts.

The double filter cartridge comes with two foam pads and allows for alternate replacement for continuous biological filter activity. The filter cartridge also has a designated area for optional media such as Polyester Filter Pads or Special Carbon Filter Pads (not included). It also features a clogging indicator that will indicate when the filter media needs to be maintained.

The 90 degree Swivel Spout directs the flow output and allows a change of flow pattern in the aquarium. The Water Flow Adjuster can be used to increase or decrease the flow output for feeding or other requirements. An Air Flow Control Device is also included to create a Venturi Effect for added aeration. This filter is specially designed to sit vertically or horizontally.

Pros: Does a good job keeping the water clean.
Cons: It is awfully large.

I have these in both my turtle tanks. they do a great job keeping the water clean. Hiding one in a fish tank would be difficult.
