Description:
EHEIM professionel II

The high-tech external canister filters generation with priming support and full of innovative technology for aquarium sizes up to 600 l.

EHEIM professionel II is continuing the philosophy of the professionel series consistently and offers greater efficiency with even more convenience.

The large priming cylinder on the pump head is not only a special design element. The filter system is filled with this convenient priming support at "the push of a button" and immediately the system starts working.Complicated priming principles for which every aquarium owner developed his own more or less inconvenient and often also wet technology are now a thing of the past.

The supplied hose adapter is equipped with 2 shut-off valves. When the safety adapter is mounted, the flow rate is adjusted with the combi-lever. If the hose connection is disconnected, the combi-lever is also used but in conjunction with the red safety catch. The lever is easier to use and faulty operation is virtually impossible.

In the hose adapter the flow rate indicator displays the flow rate. This way you can see the filter efficiency at a glance.EHEIM high performance ceramics, i.e. high quality ceramic components, provide for very quiet continuous operation characteristics.

The high quality filter canister is equipped with practical filter baskets. Filter baskets are easy to take out and to fill.
Also included in the packing:

* Priming pipe with prime strainer
* Overflow elbow with nozzle pipe
* Suction holder
* Filter baskets
* EHEIM quality hose 12/16mm
* Filter pad and foam filter pad

Outstanding features of EHEIM external canister filters are a low power consumption combined with high efficiency. EHEIM professionel filters consume only 20 watts/hour.

The extensive range of accessories includes a Media SET (filter media set) for this filter which is perfectly equipped with EHEIM filter media.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Noise, reliability, functionality, flexibility
Cons: Price

9/10 due to price, but sometimes you get what you pay for. I use Eheim canisters exclusively and have had zero problems with them for years upon end. I use the 2026 and 2028 dependent upon the size of the tank. Just incredible filtration. The media baskets allow ultimate flexibility for use. If you use a sponge prefilter over the inlet you will never, literally never, have to open your canister. The Eheims are super reliable, provide great flexibility with media options, and just simply get the job done. Highly recommended!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Easy to clean, easy to start, effieicent filtration
Cons: price

These are excellent filters. The priming button makes starting this filter extremely easy. Cleaning of the media also is quite easy due to the media baskets. I have had the 2026 model operating for about 2 years now and I am extremely happy with it. I have it 10/10 because even though it is expensive, IMO the quality of the equipment is worth every penny paid.
