Description:
For both fresh and saltwater aquariums. Unit has a precision bi-stable thermostat with plus or minus 1/2 degree F holding temperature. The temperature setting is a control dial with accurate 1" increments from 65 to 93 degrees. Ebo Jagers have a 2mm thick thermal shock resistant glass vs the common 1mm thickness, and is well suited for tanks with large or agressive fish. Heater also includes a 6 foot double insulated power cord, and a clip-on heater holder.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good temp control, easy to find (near me anyway), great for larger fish
Cons: none that I have yet found

A great heater, second best to the Stealth models in my opinion. It works great and can keep the temp with in a fraction of a degree.
Also, very thick and durable, great for larger or agressive fish.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great quality, long lasting, reliable
Cons: none to speak of

IMO the absolute best line of heaters on the market. I have 2 of these heaters and I love both of them, they have done nothing but perform well. Many people report using the same Jager for 20 years, a record that is unmatched in the industry.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Accurate, dependable
Cons: Glass construction

I really like these heaters. I have had some running for 4+ years with no difficulties at all. The only drawback is that they are glass, which does leave the potential for a break. I prefer the shatter proof plastic construction of the Stealth heaters myself. That being said however, the Jager heaters are very well constructed and are rock solid stable.

8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Easy to read temp wheel
Cons: overheats, not submersible

Have not had any luck with the 150 watt heater. First heater would run hot, reset dial per instructions and it would hold temp for a couple days then slowly start heating up. Exchanged that heater for another one only to have it heat non stop till water was over 97. Maybe it's possible to get two bad heaters in a row but it won't be three, returning this one ASAP.
