Positive aspects of the product (pros): Very accurate, easy to read
Cons: price, ammonia test is a little awkward

The Marine Basic test kit from Seachem is one of the best test kits available to the marine hobbyist. It contains the 5 main tests needed for maintaining a healthy marine tank. The nitrate test is the most accurate I have ever seen, measuring to 2 decimal places. The tests themselves do take some work to perform but the accuracy is definitely worth the extra work. The nitrite/nitrate test is the most convenient I've ever seen. Once you have performed a nitrite test, you simply have to add one more agent to the test in order to test the nitrate, meaning you don't need to take a second water sample to test. The ammonia test is a little awkward in that it uses tiny "disks" that need to be rinsed after each use and stored in their container and they must be handled using the provided tweezers.

For a 5 in 1 test kit, this kit takes up very little room and the charts for reading the test results are very easy to read. Definitely recommend.
