An absolute necessity for fish keeping. Great to use with a bucket for smaller tanks. Easy to use--start the siphon and empty the water into the bucket. Most gravel does not get sucked into the stream, so you can just dig the vacuum into the substrate to remove particulate detritus.
------------------------------ 8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

Very powerful siphon

Easy to get the siphon going, and has enough suction for efficient gravel vacuuming. I use it when water changing a tank with parasites or fungus as I use the hose that attaches to the sink for water changes on all of my healthy tanks, so not to spread disease.
