Positive aspects of the product (pros):

Decent for shrimp or annuals
|
Cons:
|
expensive, bad hood, cheap plastic tank
|
Good for a shrimp or annual killifish tank, not much else. The 2.5 gallons are sufficient for a betta, but the bow in them makes it hard to take pictures.
They scratch easily and stress marks appear in about a year, the hood makes it so you can only have an incadescant light in it and the opening is too small for much use.

Small size

I use 2 of these--one is a first stop for new fry and the other is a permanent house for a male betta. I enjoy using these as they are well built and I have had no problems with them. Even the small filter that comes with them is adequate for the job. I have had the stock filter running on the betta tank for almost 2 years now without any issues whatsoever. If you do purchase one please do not stock with more than a single specimen male betta. They are far too small for more than that.
------------------------------ 8 tanks running now:
1x 220 gallon, 2x55 gallon, 1x40 gallon long, 1x29 gallon, 1x20 gallon long, 1x5.5 gallon, 1x2 gallon
Gouramis, barbs, rasboras, plecos, corys, tetras, fancy guppies, swordtails, ottos, rainbow shark, upside-down catfish, snails, and Max and Sparkles the bettas.

incandescent lighting

I have 3 of these for my male Bettas. They are easy to clean, and the filter works really well. The only problems are that you have to buy a replacement flourescent light and not many decorations will fit in it

Easy Set-up, Can fit almost anywhere
|
Cons:
|
Cheap hood and filter
|
I have a five gallon.
Don't get messy fish because the tank is just too small. (messy fish = many more partial water changes). Be sure the fish you stock will not outgrow the tank, unless you have a larger tank to transfer them to.
------------------------------ Creation Requires Influence
29 Gallon: 11 neon tetras - 3 albino cories - 1 guppy - 2 endlers- 1 powder blue dwarf gouami
