Positive aspects of the product (pros): Cheap
Cons: Inaccurate, doesnt last, hard to read.

These are tough to read accurately and are not trustworthy.
Spend the extra 50 cents and get a glass thermometer in my opinion.
You get what you pay for, but in this case the savings are just not worth it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): They stick
Cons: They suck

No, no, no. Too much variation is introduced into the accuracy of temperature measurement because they stick on the outside of the glass. No. Get a glass thermometer that goes in the tank. You want to measure the temperature of the water? Put the thermometer in the water.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): The package looks nice
Cons: Its not accurate

I tried these when I was new to the hobby and found it very inaccurate. It tried a few more thinking I just got one that didn't work but none of them gave me a accurate reading

If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.
