Vortech MP40wES
We bought 2 of these last month to add to our 75 gallon reef. They are the best powerhead money can buy. Fully adjustable from 1000 gph to 3200gph and have a wide range of wave and flow settings to adjust perfectly to your reef, plus they communicate wirelessly to other Vortech power heads to either sync or antisync the flow. I have them set to 75% reef crest mode anti-synced on our tank and there is not a single dead spot in the tank. Our coral love it. Its more then strong enough for most demanding SPS but gentle enough in spots for our delicate LPS coral. The only downside I've found so far is their price. At $450 each it took a few years to save up for them, but they are well worth every penny. |
