Do Rainbows Eat Snails
I've had a little problem with snails in my tank. About 2 months ago I got two assassin snails, which hardly made a dent in the few snails that are there. I added four Boseman Rainbows about two weeks ago and now all the pest snails are gone. Could the new Rainbows have eaten them?

I guess I'll just have to chalk it up to coincidence that the Assassins got their arses in gear at the same time as the rainbows arrived.

My assassins wiped out my pond snails in a really short time. They haven't done so well on the trumpet snails and can't seem to eat those until they are bigger. But......I do have far, far less than I did. The big snails are the breeders and with them eaten, it has slowed down the numbers big time.
I now have about 50 assassins and afraid they are going to get hungry tho.Cycling With Fish?•• The Fishless Cycle••
