We will soon be experincing some down time. I am sorrry about this. A hard drive is failing and need to be replaced.

If everything goes as it should the downtime should be no more than 2-3 hours.
Do as I say. Not as I do.

    Thanks for the up-date William
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

    How will I survive?
When in doubt, do a water change.

I do not know. But better a few hours than a complete and total data wipe ;-)

(and dont worry, there are backups, but they are allways a few days old)

Even in paradise, hard drives fail? ...that's just so wrong. Please put in a better hard drive THIS time.

I know..an SSD would solve everything! I hear they're indestructible as long as you don't drop them............

2-3 hours downtime will give me time to wash my windows before winter.
