    Default Floating driftwood

    Any of you guys know a good way to get driftwood to sink without weeks of soaking?

    i just scored a nice peice and im impatient
    30g Planted - Rocky Balbetta, albino corys, Neons, Bolivian rams
    55g - Australian perch, Medium crayfish, elodia
    10g - holding tank
    5g Hex - empty for the moment

    100g empty

    Silicone it to a piece of slate. Let it dry for 48 hours before putting it in the water. The gravel or some stones will hold it down.

    Some types will sink right away due to their weight... If it floats, tie it down

    attach the bottom of the piece of wood to eternite or slate with a screw, then epoxy over the screw. drill the hole into the eternite with a carbide drill bit.

    I ended up just trying some rocks onto the bottom with cotton hopefully but the time the cotton breaks down it will stay down

    added some java moss too... looks good

    the peice of wood is on the left side at the back its abit hard to get a picture of with the black background but you can kinda see it

    GORGEOUS tank! i love the open spot in the middle for fish viewing! and all the plants look bright and healthy!

    and a guess, on the white pipe on the right side is that a otto cat?
