I doubt it...personally I wouldn't, more than 2 weeks in another tank with other fish, I wouldn't want to risk introducing a possible disease to the other fish I was selling.
Though thats just my opinion...but I dont really agree with "trading" fish in general though, i believe when you purchase or adopt an animal it should be for life, unless for some reason you can't care for them anymore. I manage a LFS part time, and we accept trade ins. Personally I feel it is better for us to accept the fish, and try to assist the individual in finding a fish that is suited, than for them to flush the fish or worse yet release it in a pond or stream.

the only reason i was thinking about bringing them back is because those three are be becoming really aggressive with the others in the tank. they are very healthy fish and have great coloring. i def dont want to kill the fish and if i had the room in our apartment to keep them in another tank i would. i just didn't kno what kind of options i had.

It's for that reason I pull my 4 pr of angel spawn each time. I have no where to get rid of the young. It's an hour from my house to PetSmart and they are the ONLY fish store from here to Flint.....3 hours.

I've had to trade in fish before, not because I couldn't care for them, but because they became too aggressive for the tank or I was misinformed by the store employees. So don't feel bad about having to trade them in, sometimes it's the best thing for the fish. I know that Petco will give a refund up to 15 days after you purchase the fish, otherwise you can still trade it in, but for no store credit or cash back.

What about selling/trading them on Craigslist or the local Buy & Sell?
I don't know if this is a good option or not, but it's just a thought I had.
