Input On My Community Tank Idea
0
Hey, this might be kind of a long post. Im looking for any kind of advice and input I can get. I am looking to set up a very large, planted community tank. Ive done a fair bit of research, but it would still be extremely benificial to hear outside opinions and other people's point of view. Most of these fish are new to me, I have no history with most of these breeds. So, here goes, this is my setup plan:
100 Gallon Planted Tank
2x Filters
1 Heater
Lid & Hood-Florescent Light Bulb
Substrate: Fine Gravel Mixed With Sand-both even amounts
Main Pieces Of Decor: 2x Large Driftwood, Large Rock Formation
Caves: Med. Sized T-Rex Skull Cave, Large Artificial Rock Cave, Flower Pot Cave, Med. Sized Coloured Glass Vause Cave.
Live Plants: Amazon Sword Plant (2), Anubias Plants (2), Cardinal Plant (1), Hornwort (2), Water Sprite (1), Java Moss (1), Java Fern (1), Moneywort (2), Water Wisteria Plant (1), Frill Plant (1), Green & White Acorus Plant (2), Corkscrew Vallisheria Plant (1)
Community Fishies:
Cherry Shrimp (4), Freshwater Clams (2), Red Tailed Black Shark (1), Bristle Nose Pleco (1), Corydora Catfish (6), Kuhli Loach (2), Tinfoil Barb (4), Rosy Barb (4), Tiger Barb (3), Green Tiger Barb (3), Black Skirt Tetra (5), Harlequin Rasbora (8); Zebra Danio (8).
.... Any Thoughts??? Would This All Work?

a few thoughts off the top of my head:
red cherry shrimp may get eaten by your other fish. If you do decide to try them, I'd recommend you get a group of 20 or so and let them breed into a sizable colony. If you got 4 shrimp you'd never see them, even if they didn't get eaten.
You've got some bare minimums, or less than that, on the schoolers you've picked out (everything but the shark, the pleco are schoolers). In a big tank like that I would make sure I had at least a dozen of each schooling species if not more. This might require reducing the overall number of species a bit - not sure off the top of my head.
I would skip the tinfoil barbs. Everything else you've picked out is in the 2-4" range mostly and then you've got these 12" monsters. They don't seem like a good fit, and in fact some of your smaller fish might get eaten.
Just my two cents.
300 gallon mega tank: sailfin pleco, clown loaches, silver dollars, roseline sharks, congo tetras, new world cichlids
125 gallon office tank: Africian cichlids, synodontis catfih
75 gallon community tank: bolivian rams, black skirt tetras, dwarf neon rainbowfish, corys, harlequin rasboras, otos, bristlenose and bulldog plecos, assassin snails, various shrimp
60 gallon goldfish tank: fancy goldfish

I agree with brhino on the schoolers, khuli loaches are mega social so they really need more.
What 2 filters are you looking at?
My therapist says I need a bigger tank . . . . .
