What do you get when you cross red cherry shrimp and crystal red shrimp?
Just wondering what you would get.

Just found my own answer - they're two separate species so won't interbreed.
Hmmm...I might get some crystals then!

just do your research on the crystals first as they require completely different water perameters than other shrimp. considered a delicate species.

Ha ha, no chance of that. Anything I get involves 3 months of research and planning.

I found this which looks very useful if you want to keep two species. There is common ground with many. http://www.shrimpkeeping.com/

Thats a great link. I used it when I started my shrimp tank also. What grade CRS are you planning on getting? I think I am going to get them also for my blue pearl tank. I hope on getting S or SS grade.

If I do get any it'll be the lower graded CRS. Whilst they are hardier and cheaper, I actually prefer the look with 50/50 red/white.
