My 3 harlequins are hiding swimming behind the plants out for a bit and than back behind the plants. They are eating good and seem very healthy. Could they be afraid of my angel who is growing quite fast or the corys? If I had more would they be out and about more?30 gal Freshwater

Lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
Why pretend there are no stupid questions? Actually, There are many stupid questions: "Should I drink this bleach?" Is just one example.
Having said that, Just because it's a stupid question doesn't mean that it shouldn't be asked. It's better to know.
A warm beer is better than a cold beer. Because nothing is better than a cold beer, and a warm beer is better than nothing.

I agree with 850R. I keep my school of Harlequin's at 12 in my 55 gallon. They still swim together which is why I like them so much but they aren't afraid of any thing. I dont know your tank size but the more you can accommodate the safer they will feel.Warning; Bulldog Pleco guarding my Sons tank now..
Please remember; every keystroke has a consequence.

I have 15 Harlequins in my 45g and I love them because unlike most tetras, they always school. I'm increasing the school to 20 soon. Bigger schools look better.
