Yea I have thought about that. I would like to have a spare tank in case I had to medicate a shark. For a frag tank I was thinking some smaller tanks like the stores use.

Yea I have been looking at plywood tank designs all day.... ooo the possibilities... but I think I'd still stick with FW over SW, as much as I love SW there is too much required, and I like the large schools...
I've been trying to think of what I'd do with a 300+ gallon tank lol55g: DG, 5 GBR, 4 Oto, 6 Sterbai, 4 Platies, RCS

I would, I have seen threads for tanks, one where I guy built his house around it. I'd really only want a max size of something that was moveable, aka could fit through a door way.
Brihno has a 300g freshwater that I have been following as he comes along with it55g: DG, 5 GBR, 4 Oto, 6 Sterbai, 4 Platies, RCS

Slight set back on the build.... I need to re-run my electrical for the fish tank room to another pole on the property. The 200amp main breaker tripped the other night. Once I started adding up the fridge, washer/dryer, hot water heater etc etc etc... all of that running at once with normal wall outlets being used trips the breaker. So, I need to re-run the wire from my junction box to the other pole.
On the bright side.... I got to test my sump in a power out situation lol. Works well with the draining water. I am going to drill one of the return lines to break siphon sooner.300g + 240g in wall build! - Follow Here
