Are you allowed to take water from the ocean? I figured someone would have an issue with that

For moving the eel, what about putting in a pvc pipe with a cap on 1 end, toss some fish in there and wait for him to go in and quickly cap the other end
Do it with like 6 - 8" PVC pipe

I have another video with the eel getting the fish and the grouper stared into his 3"pvc pipe and was sad lol. The grouper use to swim through the eels 3"pvc tube. Yes its legal from what I have read and another post on my local forum. My local forum even has collecting trips to the jetty once a year... I can't wait! We are allowed to catch and keep/trade but not to sell. Obviously no endangered species

That's what I did last time... 3ft x3" PVC pipe. Wow, that has to be rough... go into your tube to sleep, feel the tube move and then in a new environment!

Cool video and yes, all my eels would ignore it if I did not hold it for them to take. Funny how they're alike in that regard....

Love that Tessalata... Every time I see these eel videos, it makes me yearn for a big saltwater tank in the future. After a few days, I'll begin to think of the hassles of taking the plunge, but then I'll see another vid and I'm back in again. lol

You are allowed to take water from the ocean in most area (limited amounts). Putting water back is however often a different story and is more commonly illegal since it can introduce diseases.
