What kind of truck do you drive? Just curious because that will be a ton of weight with all those tanks filled up
55g Long --> After 18mo of doing well the tank crashed during moving. Most likely cause: Flatworm Die-off... won't start another until after moving... Likely not until late 2013

20g Long --> currently concoting a build plan

Check out the journal to follow my 20g SW tank

Dodge diesel. Can handle 3500lbs in bed but my gooseneck can handle 12000lbs.

On another local forum there is a guy who gets his water from corpus christi canal and works great. Gave me advice to collect water when tide comes in, check the water with tests and check for any red/brown tide

That was a fun 4 hour water change for only 200g. I wanted a bigger water change but a cold front and rain decided to mess with my plan.

Took least an hour heating water with the propane burners to bring the water to 78 degrees while the two cats laughed at me. Then the cold front started to come with wind and rain. Kept working through it and got shocked a few times from the circulating pumps and heaters.

All in all not a bad night of work and everything worked out so far. I am going to buy another barracuda gold pump to take with me to the ocean. The pumps I have just would take to long with that much head pressure.

Finally got around to upload those videos I mentioned a few weeks ago. I did not edit anything... I hear the TV in the background lol.

The epaulette shark... Grow very quick! It is awesome watching eat a sardine... makes me think of jaws when it tears apart the fish lol

No fish were harmed in the making of this video... just the eels pride was hurt lol. The eel came back later and ate the sardine.

My tessalata eel has grown a lot. I have had him almost two years. This is the one you never stick your hand in the tank when hungry. He could easily take a few fingers if he wanted to. Going to be a challenge moving him when I upgrade tanks in the following years.
