Peat Moss will soften and lower your pH naturally but don't expect it to work overnight, it takes at least 2-3 weeks.

autocorrect got the best of you dude, but anyways, i get what you mean. though i need to ask why you need to lower your pH.
Usually, we don't recommend doing anything for your pH unless it's either too high or too low.Da name's Paul. Not Dave. ROFL

+1 - fish can generally adapt to a range of pH as long as they are properly acclimated before putting them into the tank - constantly altering it can lead to stress and bring on illness in fish.

+1 to acclimation.
What is your current Ph?

+ 1 to Andrea
Are your fish having issues? As mentioned fish will acclimate.
Here's the thing - IF you start messing with your tanks Ph, Every WC you do will mess with it since you will be adding a higher Ph water to the tank.
[Unless you are willing and have the storage to premix a Ph matched batch of water every week]
THIS will stress your fish as the Ph gets bounced every week. Stability is the key to Ph and if your fish are not having issues and it is stable you are far far better off IMO to leave it where it is.
There are two routes to take from here:
Acclimate your fish to your Ph once, Or, Adjust your water forever. Your choice.

You do have choices like the one I suggested above. Was there a certain type of fish you wanted to keep at lower pH? The fish that like lower pH will adapt as stated above but will never be realy comfortable and show off their true colors, and if you get experianced enough to want to breed fish like tetras than forget about it.
