I have a female Mack Snow
Aeon - just because it can be done doesn't make it the best choice for a beginner. I have a few that will keep you on your toes. I would not suggest a beginner keep or handle any of them. It could be a quick way to scare someone away from the hobby.-Jordan

I think Mr Flame was pulling my leg

Small update on the progress, I have one uncle who would like to buy me 2 for my xmas, however my mum has veto'd them for our house
sooooo, if my gran would let me house them then we should be champion! She already has my 48G at her house
If I get a yes for here then my viv size can increase, my area of work could be upto (eye measurement here, nothing precise) 56x24 footprint, max height os 20 inch
so could end up with a pretty cool set up!

My vote would be for a Crested Gecko :) Even easier to care for then the Leopards in my opinion.

Bearded dragons from Australia are very nice desert reptiles. They live for around 10 years. Very easy to take care of.

I generally shy away from suggesting anything that requires UV lighting as a beginner Herp. That's just my opinion though. And YES...I do love Beardies too! : )

I'm going to put my vote in for Crested Gecko too! Mine is super active and friendly. I have heard from other reptile enthusiasts that Leopards are a little bit less active, but very cute all the same.
