getting any live food cultures across the border into canada is counter productive as chances are they won't survive being delayed at the border.

This site seams to carry s good selection of replacement tank frames. Might be a good option if you are having trouble getting a replacement frame

FYI, do NOT buy from Companion Caterers. I tried to order a filter extension tube from them and it was not good.

I ordered the part on the 12th. They said it would ship by the 14th at the latest. On the 17th, it still had not shipped so I decided to call and check on it.

1st call - girl answered and immediately hung up on me.
2nd call (2 seconds later) - phone rang a few times before going to a generic voicemail that just gives the phone number (Not the number I had dialed)
3rd call (2 seconds later) - phone rang several times before going to a business voicemail

I emailed them twice through their contact us link and the info email they have listed with no reply

On the 18th I called again, got the same result as the 3rd call listed above and left a voicemail. I called back about an hour later and a girl answered the phone with "This is Valerie". this the business I am looking for? "Yes."

Asked where my order was and she said it was shipping today. Told her I had called several times, been hung up on, sent emails, etc and her only response was "Oh...weird." She swore my part would ship and they would send me a tracking number when it does. Guess what?! It didn't ship. I checked again this morning and it still has not shipped. I tried to call in 3 times with no answers on any attempt. I checked my bank account and the money is no longer showing to come out of the account. Weird. I contacted which is the website I ordered through to cancel my order and let them know they have a big problem with their seller. I got an auto reply that they will get back with me soon. Still waiting on that one. Hopefully they can assist to make sure I don't get charged. If they do try to charge me I will call my bank and deny the charges at this point.

Finally went through Pet Mountain and ordered the part. They said it will ship by the end of the day via Fed Ex and will send me tracking info by the end of the day. I know that this company is reputable at least, but dang it I could have gotten this part a week ago!

So, whatever you do, do NOT order from Companion Caterers.
40 gallon FW -1 male halfmoon betta named Max, 2 GBR's (Peter and Lois) who better clean up their act, 11neon tetras (damn GBR's killed one), 12 black neon tetras, 2 assassin snails, and 1 albino BN pleco named Tiberius.
