Yep. You can mix shrimps without any problems. As far as I know though.

Depends on the type of the shrimp you plan to mix in the tank. Some will interbreed with one another. Here is a link to another site that has a chart that shows which shrimp will interbreed http://www.planetinverts.com/Will%20...nterbreed.html

As the previous two posted, it shouldn't be a problem, as long as they don't feel crowded. Ghost shrimps are the most aggressive of the three types you mentioned, especially the females. I find there tends to be one, remarkably large female ghost shrimp in the tank at a time. I know this'll sound strange, but I'm pretty sure it's the "alpha" shrimp or something. The other females, I find, tend to stay smaller, then after the "alpha" dies, one of the females will grow to around her size to replace her. This tends to be the general rule for ghosted in tanks under 50g or so.

hi! i hope someone can help me. i have a community tank with gouramis, mollies and a breeding pair of kribensis. they get on well sticking to their various parts on the tank. about a week ago i introduced a vampire shrimp (african cameroon fan shrimp) he was investigated by the tank inhabitants with lots of nudges and then left alone. he obviously didnt like this much ad ran and hid under some bog wood.

its been a week and i havent seen him at all! is he dead or hiding? will he ever come out? im worried if he will get enough food.

    thanks!
