breeding tank sand or gravel?
Hi whats best for a breeding tank sand or gravel (large small)
i have gravel in my main tank and the fish do breed (aulonocara chitandi mesinji and peackocks) , i also whant to start breeding my otopharynx lithobates and dimidiochromis compressiceps.
Whats best for my new breeding tank sand or gravel what would the fish prefer?

i used pea sized gravel but the babies got stuck in it and as a result i lost some fry im personally going to use sand this time

I would go for sand or a fine gravel.
