(freshwater is in parentheses because it is really brackish for anyone who didn't already know)

I just bought this guy a few weeks ago and thought I would give it a shot.

Awesome! My LFS has some dragon eels, they are gnarly looking but love them! I always spend time by their tanks every time I go.

I'll have to drive over when I find out when feeding time is for those monsters and record that :D

    Cool video

Just be careful feeding by hand. At some point they can learn to associate your hand with food which could lead to the odd nip here and there when you have your hand in the tank for reasons other than feeding.
If you take your time to do the research FIRST, you can successfully set-up and keep ANY type of aquarium with ease.

Thanks, and I bet they would after a while. Lizards (tegus) like to try to do the same thing. I'll vary the way I feed them between just dropping the frozen fish in, using tongs, and hand feeding.
