Sorry about the glare (have no control of the lighting at work) and the quality of the picture (only have my crappy phone's camera) but I wanted to share. This guy hangs out with me at work, I forgot how freakin cool bettas are!

What are the details of your tank/filter etc?

It's a 3 Gallon cubed tank with an Aqueon 10 watt heater. I have an Aquaclear 20 filter. I know it's way to huge for the size of the tank, and bettas don't like a lot of flow so I stuck the down stem in the substrate so it only allows a little bit of water to enter and that's greatly reduced the flow while providing some good filtration with well established media and he hasn't had any problems with it. I also only run the filter during the day and turn it off at night when I leave from work so he can rest. I know 5 gallons is best so I wanted to have a filter and I had this one on hand from a previous tank. It has a little LED light built in that only illuminates the middle back of the tank, which is kinda cool because he's a sweet lookin betta anyway, but then he enters the light and his color's explode! It's like he's on fire :)

Nice looking betta. I think I have his long lost twin brother, looks pretty much the same as the one in my 10g.
