Then there is a good possibility that I will be very grateful because I play the arcade games when I am studying and get stuck on an answer or just need a break. My grades might depend on it.

wondering if there any problems uploading photos to the gallery.
I tried to upload today - don't know if it's me (most likely!) or a system problem.

this is the error I get:

Error creating thumbnail! Error code: 127

Command:

"/usr/bin/mogrify" +profile "*" -size 100x56 -quality 70 -geometry 100x56 -unsharp 10 '/home/aquatic/public_html/fishpictures/data/1/thumbs/1-angel_007.JPG'

I followed the instructions and resized my photo to 800 pxls so I don't think size is a problem ... but I'm notoriously NOT techy so ...
any ideas?

Was the site just down for 3 days for everyone? If so, I would expect to see more posts about it.

Also I'm getting a "404 Forbidden" error when I try to post a thread.

We moved servers. Different service providers update their registers at different paces. some might have seen the new site directly, others might have had to wait a few days before your isp got our new adress (IP not url). Hopefully we should not ned to change our IPs again in many years.

where do you get 404 forbidden. it should work

I get it when I try to post or preview a new thread in the section General Aquarium Forum. And actually it says "403 Forbidden". Though I could have sworn it said 404 before.
